“Daadi” Means Grandma
Our recipe traces back over 60 years to my daadi’s kitchen. After immigrating to the US, my grandma had a passion for combining classic American popcorn with beloved spices from her Indian homeland — and I found a passion for eating it.
A Family Tradition
My grandma would make fresh batches of her popcorn every weekend, and we’d go through tubs of it as a family.
Keeping to her recipe, we use over half a dozen freshly ground spices sourced from under-represented farmers, premium popcorn and the highest quality oil.
We make our popcorn fresh to order and in small batches, just the way my daadi did.
